You subscribe directly to a source's feed and its posts arrive in the order they were published. There is no ranking layer because there is nothing sitting between you and the publisher.

A group chat is an RSS feed with write access. One person creates it, everyone else joins by subscribing, and the feed lives on a server you choose — encrypted in transit and at rest.

Nothing is locked in
